Apologize for inconvenience naturally in Hindi
An effective apology identifies the inconvenience. You can acknowledge waiting, explain a changed arrangement, or add a concrete step that addresses the problem.
Three ways to say it
आपको इंतज़ार करवाने के लिए माफ़ कीजिए।aapko intezaar karvaane ke liye maaf kijiye.
Sorry to keep you waiting.
Acknowledge that the other person has had to wait.
कार्यक्रम बदलने के लिए माफ़ कीजिए।kaaryakram badalne ke liye maaf kijiye.
I'm sorry about the change of plans.
Recognize the effect of a change of plans.
परेशानी के लिए माफ़ कीजिए। मैं अभी सही फ़ाइल भेजता / भेजती हूँ।pareshaani ke liye maaf kijiye. main abhi sahi file bhejta / bhejti hoon.
Sorry for the trouble. I'll send the correct file now.
Acknowledge trouble and immediately explain the corrective action.
Avoid translating word by word
English 'keep you waiting' means cause someone to continue waiting; it does not mean keep or own the person. Learn the target-language construction for making someone wait as a complete phrase.

A note on speaking Hindi
These examples generally use respectful आप (aap). Familiar तुम (tum) changes the verb ending, and तू (tu) can sound too intimate or disrespectful in the wrong relationship. Where gender changes a first-person form, choose the version that describes the speaker.
Read the Devanagari alongside the romanization. Romanization is a reading aid rather than an exact description of every sound. Everyday Hindi can use familiar loanwords, while a literal English word order may sound unnatural.
