Express enthusiasm naturally in Polish
Enthusiasm can respond to an idea, express anticipation, or accept an invitation warmly. Choose a phrase that says which of those things you mean.
Three ways to say it
Brzmi świetnie!
That sounds great!
Respond positively to a suggested activity.
Bardzo się na to cieszę.
I'm really looking forward to it.
Express anticipation of an event already planned.
Chętnie do ciebie dołączę.
I'd love to join you.
Accept warmly when you genuinely want to join.
Avoid translating word by word
English 'look forward to' describes positive anticipation, not looking in a physical direction. Use the target-language anticipation expression; translating the visual verb word by word can lose the intended meaning.

Nasza podróż zaczyna się jutro.

A note on speaking Polish
Polish distinguishes familiar ty from polite pan and pani. Choose pan when addressing a man and pani when addressing a woman formally; the paired forms shown in examples are alternatives, so say one. A formal question usually uses a third-person verb, such as Czy może pan …? First-person past and conditional forms can change with the speaker’s gender.
Keep letters such as ą, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, and ż. Noun and adjective endings can change with their role in the sentence. Learn the complete expression before replacing a name, object, or time.
