Suggest a plan naturally in Italian
A suggestion invites a joint decision. Name a day, offer an activity, or make a plan conditional on the other person's availability.
Three ways to say it
Ci vediamo sabato?
Shall we meet on Saturday?
Suggest a concrete meeting day.
Che ne dici di una passeggiata dopo pranzo?
How about a walk after lunch?
Offer a relaxed activity after an existing part of the day.
Se sei libero / libera, potremmo provare quel nuovo bar.
If you're free, we could try that new café.
Suggest a new place while leaving room for the person's schedule.
Avoid translating word by word
English 'How about a walk?' proposes an activity; it does not ask how a walk works. Use the target-language suggestion pattern with the activity, rather than translating 'how' and 'about' separately.

A note on speaking Italian
Use tu with friends and Lei with someone you address formally. A request with vorrei or potrebbe can soften the tone; it still helps to say what you need clearly. The examples label the situation so you can choose the appropriate relationship.
Read doubled consonants distinctly and keep the written accents. The English translation explains the intended message; Italian often chooses a different construction rather than matching each English word.
