Offer help naturally in Portuguese
A good offer gives someone a choice. You can offer general help, suggest checking together, or name a household task you can take over.
Three ways to say it
Posso dar uma mão?
Can I give you a hand?
Offer help with a visible practical task.
Você quer que eu confira com você?
Would you like me to check it with you?
Offer a shared check while leaving the person free to accept.
Posso lavar a louça, se isso ajudar.
I can take care of the washing-up if that helps.
Name a specific task you can handle if it would be useful.
Avoid translating word by word
English 'give you a hand' is an offer of help, not an offer of a body part. Some languages share a hand idiom and others prefer a help verb; the examples use a natural local expression.

A note on speaking Portuguese
These guides use Brazilian Portuguese. Você is a common everyday address; senhor or senhora may fit a more formal interaction. Eu gostaria and poderia can soften requests without making them complicated.
Keep the accents and nasal spellings, such as não and conexão. Portuguese in Portugal may use different everyday vocabulary or pronouns. The examples aim for broadly understandable Brazilian wording.
