Give gentle feedback naturally in Italian
Useful feedback names a specific part and suggests an actionable improvement. Acknowledge what is clear, make a tentative edit suggestion, or offer to check a detail together.
Three ways to say it
Questa parte è chiara. Possiamo aggiungere un esempio?
This part is clear. Could we add an example?
Identify what works and propose adding a concrete example.
Forse potremmo accorciare l'introduzione.
Maybe we could make the introduction shorter.
Suggest one manageable edit without labeling the whole piece as bad.
Sarebbe utile controllare i numeri insieme?
Would it help to check the numbers together?
Offer a collaborative check when numbers may need attention.
Avoid translating word by word
English 'make the introduction shorter' means edit its length; it does not mean physically manufacture an introduction. The target language may prefer a verb meaning shorten, reduce, or edit rather than a literal 'make'.

Is the introduction okay?
Forse potremmo accorciare l'introduzione.
Maybe we could make the introduction shorter.
Your turn

A note on speaking Italian
Use tu with friends and Lei with someone you address formally. A request with vorrei or potrebbe can soften the tone; it still helps to say what you need clearly. The examples label the situation so you can choose the appropriate relationship.
Read doubled consonants distinctly and keep the written accents. The English translation explains the intended message; Italian often chooses a different construction rather than matching each English word.
